Energy Ministers held last week in their meeting a policy debate regarding the Hydrogen and Gas Market Package. During their discussions, aimed at providing political guidance on the most controversial topics, Ministers supported a flexible timeframe for the implementation of hydrogen markets, which could slow down not only the creation of a legal framework capable of handling a complex market, but also hydrogen deployment and investment, putting at risk the EU’s leadership position.
